Mr. Abney graduated from law school in December of 1995, going to work in the area of commercial collection shortly thereafter. He argued cases before JP and county courts in the DFW area. Prior to his legal career Mr Abney taught high school history and government and coached a variety of sports over the years. He also worked in commercial construction in Dallas during the early ‘80’s Mr. Abney has lived in Dallas for over 25 years and says ‘he wasn’t born here but got here as soon as he could’. During his spare time he enjoys reading and spending time with his grandson.
