Chanel Rafie

Chanel is a founder, owner, and operator of Rafie Douglas Abney Law, PLLC. She focuses on personal injury pre-litigation for the firm. She graduated from Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas in 2008. She went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in 2012 at Austin College located in Sherman, Texas where she majored in Political Science and minored in Spanish. In 2015, Chanel graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law. While in law school, Chanel interned for two private practices, as well as at the Dallas County District Attorney’s office under the Honorable Brandon Birmingham who, at the time, was the chief felony prosecutor and chief of the cold case unit. After law school, Chanel worked for two different personal injury law firms, where she handled up to 500 cases at a time. After gaining extensive knowledge of the personal injury field, she decided to start her own practice with her two friends and colleagues, Eric and Laura. As a dedicated personal injury lawyer, Chanel truly believes the importance of getting to know each of her clients.
Outside of the office, Chanel spends her time traveling and being with family and friends. She is a dog lover and has two pups of her own, a Cocker Spaniel/King Charles mix and a Chihuahua that she rescued during the 2021 snow storm.
